Off Season Tasmania
Pop Up Picnic

THE OFF SEASON tasmania

Soup & Pinot Picnic

The Off-Season in Tasmania provides many opportunities to head outdoors.

Take advantage of the earlier twilight hours to watch the sun go down, and snuggle under the starlight – a glass of pinot in hand.  Can you think of a more romantic winter date than a wintery picnic?

If staying indoors is more your thing, let us come to you and set up a floor picnic right in your accommodation. Then settle in and enjoy a Tassie spread of delicious food and wine without even having to leave your cosy surrounds!

This year, our Off Season picnics feature piping hot home made soup with a side of sourdough, olives and dukkha. Add a bottle of Tassie's famous Pinot Noir and you have a winter feast to remember. And if you need a sweet treat to finish to the night, why not add a decadent dessert box to enjoy? Winter in Tasmania is beautiful.

Hot tip: If you picnic in Bicheno, you can follow up your feast with a laser light show. Head along to Bicheno Beams, running two shows every night 1-22 July 2023 from 6pm. For more information, visit  Bicheno Beams.

"  Today we stand in footsteps millennia old.

May we acknowledge the traditional owners

whose cultures and customs have nurtured,

and continue to nurture, this land,

since men and women

awoke from the great dream.

We honour the presence of these ancestors

who reside in the imagination of this land

and whose irrepressible spirituality

flows through all creation.  "
